BREATH AND BODYWORK RETREAT FOR THE FIT AND ACTIVE

Weekend of breathwork, healthy movement and massage to restore and recharge the fit and active.

If you enjoy movement and exercise, then you will ALSO know the challenge of balance: how to look after oneself without over training or creating inflammation that depletes our bodies fitness and longevity?

During our "Fit and Active" retreat you will be invited to explore the healing capacity of breathwork, healthy movement and sports massage to rest, revive and recharge the parts of you that need it most.

​

The breathwork engaged will incorporate both science backed techniques as well as practices that open up and boost respiratory fitness. The movement element will enable a choice from equipment pilates (to restore muscular anatomy) to active stretching and methods that improve spinal health.

And, of course, the REAL reason everyone comes to these - a sports massage with Sam!

Our Practioner's Retreat is for any person of the health and wellness industry that islooking to get some essential "me time". Surrounded by like minded people in the beautiful setting of Nant Heddwch in Snowdonia National Park, space will be held for you to get what you need. Sleep. Reading. Writing. Meditation. Movement. Visits to sacred sites. Sharing ideas and practice.

If you have tried meditation before but have found it hard to do, perhaps you have yet to find the best practice for you.

Active Meditation is most easily described as a meditation practice that involves movement, an active task or physical exertion. Given its "embodied" nature, Active Meditation is AMAZING for anyone who:

- Gets bored easily

- Experiences pain and tightness in their body

- Has an over active mind that turns EVEN MORE active during more passive forms of meditation.

- Already spends too a lot of time at a desk or under-moving their body.

This retreat will introduce you to three incredible Active Meditation practices. There will be time to learn, practice and develop familiarity so you can continue enjoying them when back home in normal everyday life.
